Algorfa is located on the southern part of the Costa Blanca. It is one of the many citrus farming villages situated in the fertile countryside of the Segura valley. Lying between the villages of Rojales and Almoradi, Algorfa has a large administrative area but it remains a small village with only 2,900 inhabitants. Guardamar is situated on the Costa Blanca and is surrounded by two large beautiful natural salt water lakes known as the ''Salinas de Guardamar'' and have been declared an official Spanish Nature Reserve, as a result there is a large number of species of bird life for you to enjoy. La Marina is a small village situated on the Costa Blanca. La Marina is a village of two parts with the newer part being located on the beach where you will find many sporting facilities with some of the widest beaches on the Costa's extending some 17 kilometres. There is also a range of shops, bars, and restaurants located here on the coast. Located one mile inland is the older town of La Marina which also has access to the beaches.
