The area is drenched in things to do but if you wish to venture out and explore some of Spains history, the Villamartin area is centrally located to visit all. Within an hours drive in any direction and within, you can be standing in the middle of a 9th-century castle in Alicante or south you will be in Cartagena visiting the 18th-century naval port.
